About sound healing:
From the moment we are born we are influenced by sound. Sound of our mother that soothes us, the sound of nature, the sound of the wind, waves, heavy metal music. Now imagine each on it’s own and connect with how you feel when you hear it. Each sound creates their own vibration and vibrates into you. Now imagine this, sound can regenerate, heal you even to the deepest soul. It can change how you see things and how you feel. It can heal you on the physical level as well as your emotional level.
A sound therapy treatment is both a passive and participatory experience. The passive aspect is that you become more relaxed by laying down and slowing your breath. By doing this, you prepare yourself to become the receiver of sound. It’s in this place of stillness that you participate by becoming more open and aware of each sound that comes in. Sound helps create the pathway to this place of stillness the same as a mantra helps you to arrive at the still point of meditation.
As a sound healer I use voice, crystal bowls, and drumming.
Using sound as therapy can provide results for a variety of issues including:
It has been shown that sound healing can also heal cancer growths. It has broken the cancer cells down and put a cancer patient into remission.
